Moose Hunting Trips

Moose hunting is a speciality at Thunderhook. Thunderhook moose hunts are offered at our outpost locations. When a guest reserves a moose hunt a license and tag is assured, no lottery, no drawings. Many of our moose outposts are located in the Wabakimi Park and provide Thunderhook guests nearly exclusive access to a respective hunting area. The non-resident season for 2010 begins on September 20th and runs for three consecutive weeks. Along with the hunt guests enjoy great fall fishing for walleye, northern pike and lake trout.

The hunt includes fly-in and out, cabin, boat, gas, fishing, fly-out of harvested moose, harvested moose stored in moose cooler at the Thunderhook float plane base during remainder of stay, availability of desired license and tag (bull, cow or calf) and more. Call for pricing and details!
